Skills
Beginning of the Year
Students will be learning various skills and vocabulary that will be need throughout the other units we will be doing this year.
ASIA
Our first project begins in Asia. Students will choose a partner and an Asian country. They will then research different elements of the culture to create a book.
Europe
Everybody's favorite activity is the European Fair. All sixth grade students will be working as one group to learn the European countries, capitals and locations. The culmination of this unit will be our European Feast and our European Fair.
United States
Teams will be planning a 5 day vacation for a family of 4 in different regions of the United States.
Latin America
Going back into the textbook for Latin American and South America.
Illinois
End of the Year
The last activity we will be doing in 6th Grade Geography will be a two week activity on reading the Illinois Road Map.
Europe
