GAME TIME

 

  • No friends, siblings or significant others in the cheerleader section.

 

  • No fraternizing/affection with your significant other while participating in any cheerleading activity, especially while in uniform.

 

  • No vulgar language, cussing, innuendo, suggestive comments or suggestive motions/gestures.

 

  • Refrain from yelling at people in the stands.

 

  • Cheer time is not "photo op" time.  Take photos before READY time, after the game or during half time. 

 

  • If sitting out due to injury or suspension, the cheerleader will be in full uniform and sit next to the coach.  All rules apply.

 

  • Be prepared for timeouts and know which cheer you are doing and know your position.

 

  • No deviating from normal routines without coach(es) authorization.

 

  • Stay in your designated sideline position, no switching.

 

  • Need to maintain proper sideline behavior at all times.

 

  • The coach(es) reserve the right to bench a cheerleader for disciplinary reasons.

 

 

HALF TIME

 

  • Cheerleaders must stay together until the coach dismisses them.

 

  • Use the restroom during half time.

 

  • May get snacks during half time.

 

  • May use phone during half time.

 

  • Prior to half time ending, eating is done, phones are put away and the cheerleader returns to sideline formation before the clock reaches the 1 minute mark on the game clock.
